Style is all about character. A mix of glamour and rebellion, perfectionism and messiness, extravagance challenging modesty. At the start of my creative process, there’s a cocktail of emotions, the vision of lines, shapes and colors. Then come sensations, touch and comfort. If the visual harmony and sensations aren’t there, then the piece doesn’t yet deserve to exist and will return to the sewing machine as many times as necessary.
