I’m me, no matter what

Yan Haltey defines himself as a “free electron”. Born in Jakarta, he grew up near Zurich and then in the canton of Vaud. His many travels brought him a certain open-mindedness at an early age. As a child, he was equally at home playing music and drawing, building elaborate construction sets and understanding the workings of everything around him. Passionate about music, he composes his own pieces and performs a classical repertoire and a wide range of styles as a bass-baritone.

Today, his analytical mind and understanding of systems enable him to manage large-scale projects in the corporate world, while his sensibility makes him an insatiable esthete and an accomplished artist, who devotes himself to accompanying other people’s artistic creation.

Sa multipotentialité, sa vision du monde et ses origines multiculturelles l’ont toujours amené à se sentir à part et la différence est un sujet qui le passionne, au point d’avoir initié en 2021 la création d’une association fédérative pour valoriser la notion de différence. Loin d’être des freins, les différences sont pour lui des richesses à exploiter et lors de ses activités ou prises de parole, il invite chaque personne à réaliser son propre potentiel. La différence, Yan la pratique au quotidien : aussi à l’aise dans un univers professionnel ultra codifié, que mis à nu sur un cliché artistique, il évolue dans toutes les sphères avec une adaptabilité hors du commun et c’est ce qui fait sa singularité.

Yan understands systems and knows how to exploit them, but there’s no price to pay for his independence and freedom. By turns model, fashion designer, singer-songwriter, producer, presenter or speaker, as well as manager, consultant, trainer and facilitator, Yan manages his schedule like a painter manages his color palette.

For him, creation is natural. What he loves most of all, however, is creating emulation. Whether musically, pictorially or at his conferences, he sows seeds of reflection and nourishes and nurtures them. To harvest what? Emotions, reactions, whatever. It’s all about giving free rein to an essential need for artistic expression. Through his company Yan Haltey Brands LLC, he creates synergies between his activities in the fields of art, audiovisual, events, fashion, music and project management. An unusual background, multiple interests, a vivid imagination and unfailing determination… that is Yan Haltey!
